PLL....ehh?

So, I've been trying really hard to get into the pretty little liars book series, but it sure has proven a challenge.  First off, I'm a mega-huge fan of the TV show, I mean who doesn't think caleb is TOTALLY OUT OF THIS WORLD HOT? All the amazing relationships, and intense mysteries/drama on that show keep me obsessing over it for days. So, I figured 'hey! why not read the books?'.  WELL I've been trying to read the first one. Yeah....no.  I feel like I'm reading the script for the first episode. It's weird.  I probably should of read the books before becoming completely obsessed with the show...but what can ya do! Therefore, I'm gonna put that one off for later.  But don't let this stop you from reading the series!  I'm just not in the right state of mind to read it yet......if you get what I mean. Tata for now!

Excitements in the air!!!

Can you feel it? I know I can. City of Fallen Angels comes out next tuesday! HOLY CRAP!
I'm sorry. Give me a second to regain my composure.

ok. We're good. I'm just SO excited for this book I've been waiting for it for God knows how long and it will be in my grasp...on tuesday. Is anyone else peeing themselves with excitement?

Book Review: The Mortal Instruments Series!

Hello all!


In honor of the 4th Mortal Instruments book coming out on the 5th I decided I would do my first review on one of my favorite series. Let me try to summarize my intense love for this book series...I'm not sure if it's possible but I'll sure as heck give it a try.  Basically to sum up the entire series in not so many words, there's this girl named Clary.  She's your average teenage girl until one fateful night changes her world forever.  She witnesses a "murder", that no one else can see. Weird right?  Except this isn't your ordinary murder.  It's a group of hot ass shadowhunters killing a demon. AWESOME right? Clary has "the sight" meaning she can see past the glamours that the shadowhunters put around themselves to hide themselves from the humans. Now, before I go any further your probably wondering what a shadowhunter is am I right? WELL, a shadowhunter is basically a part human part angel person who can kick some serious butt while defending the entire planet from demons and the likes. When Clary's mother is soon after kidnapped, Clary is thrust into the shadow world and quickly becomes interested in the hottest bad boy ever to be created in the world of literature. JACE WAYLAND. He's a shadowhunter with a serious bad boy attitude. Not to mention he's hella gorge.  Clary, Jace, and his shadowhunter family face a bunch of obstacles while trying to find Clary's mom. Meanwhile the chemistry between Clary and Jace gets even more intense with every turn of the page.  Once they find Clary's mom the drama and suspense doesn't stop there. Jace and Clary experience every emotion in the book during their rocky relationship that takes place during the series, and they can't ever seem to catch a break due to the fact that demons and bad guys are constantly trying to ruin their lives.  I don't wanna give away to much so if I've sparked your interest...GO BUY THE BOOKS. They are worth every cent! Overall, this is probably one of the best series I have ever read in my life...and I read A LOT so that's saying something.  I'm so excited for the next book and you don't wanna get left behind so go on and get reading! Overall, I rate this book a 10 out of 10 hands down. Put this on your to read list...FOR REAL.

First post? Hell yeah!

Hello blog-universe!
As you can probably already tell...I'm a complete newbie to the whole blogging thing BUT I'm mad excited to give it a try! So let me break it down for you. I LOVEEE to read! I pretty much do it every second that I'm not in school or at volleyball.  Therefore, I intend to make this blog 90% book related, book reviews, books I'm excited for, etc. I'm also gonna throw in a few movie and TV show reviews as well!
